New Symach Equipment at Hardwood’s Body Shop

Delano, MN, USA

Harwood’s Body Shop was founded from a profound family passion for auto body repair. Situated in Delano, Harwood’s Body Shop plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional auto body and collision repairs.

The journey of Harwood’s Body Shop began in 1993 when the owner, Greg, embarked on his lifelong career by establishing his first auto body shop in Waconia. Supported by his father, who had a longstanding presence in the automotive industry, Greg’s business flourished in its initial years. In 1998, Harwood’s Body Shop relocated to Winsted before eventually settling in Delano, MN, following the sale of the Winsted location.

At the new Delano location, Harwood’s Body Shop boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including the Symach FixLine system. This system features the DryKing paint booth and the KombiKing drying cabin, customized with a height of 3.5 meters and reinforced grids to accommodate larger SUVs and commercial vehicles. The BaseTron preparation bay, equipped with downdraft extraction, houses the FlyDry Hybrid drying robot, which utilizes both Infrared and UV drying technologies.

Complementing the FixLine system is a spacious and fully equipped Paint Mixing Room, while the entire facility is illuminated by the PowerLED Lighting System. Technicians efficiently move vehicles along the paint line with the CarMover system, ensuring a seamless and expeditious paint process.
