As more electric vehicle hit the road in the world, it is inevitable that some of them are going to hit each other and will end up in your bodyshop. And, of course, this may result in paint repairs that will need to be cured.
It is widely known that electric vehicles cannot undergo high temperatures during the repair and refinish process, as this could be damaging the high voltage batteries used to power these cars.

Symach Drytronic IR technology is particularly recommended for drying paint on Electric Vehicles (EVs).
Symach’s Drytronic infrared drying technology focuses the curing to the painted surface of the vehicle, instead of warming it completely, and will not raise interior or car’s platform temperatures, avoiding any excess heat to Electric batteries and vehicle’s electronics.
Drytronic IR curing technology is available in Symach’s KombiTron and KombiKing (patented) drying booths, in the handheld lamp DryTron and the drying robots EasyDry and FlyDry. Symach curing robots can be retrofit in your existing spray booth and preparation bays, optimizing the drying process of any type of vehicles as well. The result will be a perfect finish for both water-based and solvent-based products, and will allow sanding and smoothing as soon as the treatment cycle ends.
